Does that not mean your tied into Arnold Clark for any remedial work?
Last time I looked they were the only Alfa dealer accredited?
Mate fancied one recently but AC sales never got back to him after a couple of attempts, so would hate to think what the service dept would be like

Interesting story Dave - ta!
My Uncle has a 2016 (?) Ecoboost version and pretty plain sailing IIRC.
As for your Alfa. Em. Good luck

There are so many happy mustang owners out there that there must be something good about them.
I think I was just unlucky with mine tbh. The real issue is the fact that dealers all tend to be utter gash if anything goes wrong over and above the usual stuff. They just don't have the skillz they used to have in the main dealers anymore. Plug it in, follow steps on computer blindly.
Only thing I've done to the Alfa so far is add a vanilla magic tree. Definitely feels a much more special car than any other 'normal' car I've had so far.

Lexus in Glasgow (easternwestern) are official alfa service agents still. They just don't sell them anymore. Also Automek if I need any actual skillz. Will just use dealers for the main stamps but not the work probably.
I'll do anything to avoid AC generally.

A mate has a Stelvio QV and has had the misfortune of having to use AC Aberdoom for service and warranty work. It had a thing about going into limp-home mode, all they did was plug it in and reset fault codes, never actually looking into the root cause.
He's sending it back early, such poor service

Excellent choice
I am still loving mine.
No idea what I’ll do about servicing and stuff. Well thought through as usual……
