She now has the correct seats, newly refurbished from Allon White
Question: am I correct in saying they don't have sunvisors?
Is one of those Lotus Sport windscreen stickers worth having?
Congratulations on the car Ross.
Don't bother with the sun strip. Just get some short lengths of electrical tape and put them across the top of your sunglasses

Thanks Dom.
That's a bit like Billy Connolly's prescription windscreen

So after all these years (I think around 20!) it would seem that I've bought a Lotus
Liking the suggestion it just mysteriously happened rather than you sorted !!
Looks good

Well Ian I was also enquiring about an R500 Caterham which a deposit was taken on, and then this came up. Series 1 Sport 160 at the right price and pretty much what I'd envisaged how I'd like an S1 - mechanically very good (I hope!

) but far from a garage queen.
Pretty much like my Alfa in other words, useable without worrying about stone chips etc.
I think they'll look great next to each other in my new garage

Ross,
Looking great, especially being a 160. Always remember the 160 fondly after a choice between the 111S and 160 at MMC back in 2003.
Remember new garage pic are also welcome too

Cheers Ed! A mid December drive home from York might be just that

aren't the heaters meant to be a bit rubbish on S1s?
All good here thanks, hope all are well with you and yours!

Modern classic now, so thought I'd step in before the prices start to rocket
The recent Pistonheads award won't do values any harm either, plus them starting to head over to USA
(Wishful thinking I know

)
