Yeah, not loving the looks. Failing to see the point a bit too  I'm sure it will be a fine car but just rather misplaced.

I think that the fact that we fail to see the point, it the point!

Opps,

I've just made a mess across the screen.

Fecking lovely though - and not to shabby a replacement for the esprit.

(secretly yearns for an esprit to be stable alongside the elise)

Think a few of you knew from the yahoo group I had a letter of intent in for a Europa...cant say I'm convinced by the looks. Plus I was counting on it being a 2+2 as I couldnt stand the thought of another car sitting in the garage getting hardly any use cause of child taxing logistics.

So its back to the drawing board for me, anyone any ideas on an eccentric choice of 2+2 coupe for around the same price as the europa?

I'm still quite keen on the RX8 - 4 seats and 4 doors.

If on a buget then you could do must worse than a celica - just make sure it's the VVTL-i engine

Cheers

Saw loads of Mustangs when I was in the US last month. They looked very nice, especially in black :)

Cerbera - was high on my list, I even went out with Willie ball (some of you may remember Willie from KH days) in his yellow beast when he was selling it and was close to buying it, but the servicing costs were a nightmare...worth it for the noise though.

RX8 - quite peaky power delivery similar to the Teg DC5 I have at the mo, im looking for something which is a bit less manic to drive though with more easily accessible power.

350Z - I personally love, yet still havent had a chance to drive, it pushes all the right buttons for me, but its a ruddy 2 seater....however
sat in one of these at MPH05
http://www.torqueimports.co.uk/cardetails.php?c=3
and was mightly impressed, it kind of looks like a Scaglieti from the front!

Mustang - Interestingly the wife took quite a shine to the mustang when she saw one at MPH, but I wasnt convinced.

I'm tempted to go backwards and get a classic like an R32 Skyline or a Lancia Delta Evo, one or both of these would definately appear in my dream garage!!!

As a matter of interest if you were to have a dream garage of 5 obtainable real world dream cars (forget the Zonda exists) what would they be?

Link doesn't work.
Not sure what I'd have in my dream garage, so many to choose from but here's 5 anyway.
Audi RS6 - fast and practical
Aston Vanquish/DB9/V8 Vantage - any 1 of them, all look stunning
Lambo Gallardo
Ferrari - F355
and I'd keep the Elise cos I still love it :love

Don't know much about it but it looks not bad. Being based on the 350Z it should be a decent drive too.

Sorry I meant cars that didnt cost the earth, but have that certain something... put a cap of 35k on it per car and it becomes more difficult!

Think mine would look summat like this.

R34 Skyline
Ginetta G4 Clubsport
GTD 40
Lancia Delta
Lotus Exige or Esprit

oh a 996 911 should be in there too (I dont care if I look like a cock driving it) :D
