NLC - MS Word Wizard needed

Post by scottyf » Thu Dec 07, 2006 10:22 am

Hey, was wondering if there are any peeps out there that are MS Certified and could help with a nightmare Word project. Normally we dont touch word with a barge poll, but I have a "designed document" that needs a proper TOC set up with automatic formatting so that it can be distributed and peeps can populate the doc without altering the look and feel.

I really dont have a clue about this.

We can pay for peeps time.

Answers on a postcard.

Any help much appreciated.

Scott,

Would you not be better setting up a wiki with restricted access? The newer wiki engines support most text formatting now.

Word is a nightmare and (unless you know something I don't) your doc will turn into a mess pretty quickly if you allow anybody to edit it. I've created template docs in the past that in theory were simple to edit and they always came back to me in a complete mess.
