Thanks all for the welcome, I was a bit apprehensive about joining forums like these, because I see a lot of you folk running seriously new kit and I genuinely wanted an older model. Was bit apprehensive bout 'oh its that one' kind of stuff  , seen it on other sites with other cars ive had. Just fancied a project to play with, although im going abroad again soon so think it will be sitting in the garage  even when im back it will probably spend its life being polished more than anything with some R&R weekend use.

Anyhow, some truly serious bits of kit here, hope to speak to some of you around the town or at least a flash the lights as you blip past. Cheers

We work to a few founding principles :-

An elise is an elise is an elise (even if it's a VX220 or a exige :D )

Don't dis your fellow members

Don't leave your plate ungarded when 4mm is around

Don't leave your girlfriend ungarded when (insert name from cast of many) is around.

Welcome :D

Mac - Weegie contingent and proud of it.

Mac is right with the rules..... a small group really, everyone gets along (unlike the bigger lotus clubs).

I thought your car looked like a well looked after example with some spot-on extras when I saw it, and like mac says, I have found it very friendly on here :D .

No worries all theses softc0ck S2 owners are selling up and coming back to the original. I reckon my car must be creeping up in value.

JKe11y - yeah, thats the one i took ..after getting the price right  ....what convinced me was the service portfollio and all the rest of the records under the garage desk  ....she is straight and clean with lots nice bits on...obviously an enthusiasts car.....ideal project......dont like the sport stickers tho and i want black wheels....oh...and legal tyres

Ive seen the yellow monster about, still in that? you still about Kilmalky?

unless im overseas im always in the fair green place..well..probably now in the garage cleaning it or taking bits off.. 8)
