If you havent done the deal for the S yet then they usually try to give you the hardtop as a freebee! If i were you i wouldnt bother with it and go for a larger discount. Its still a tough time of year for dealers so if were you id also shop around for the best price! HTH cheers Ed :D

Yeah, the previous owner is called Robin and the car is still living at Buckstone.
(Robin, if you're out there, it would be good to hear from you. I hope you got as much enjoyment out the car as I've had. I'll be sorry to see it go).

Did my fastest laps at the ring in that car in standard form (well eventually went quicker in the S2 exige with A048s on it). It's a great car - I had to get shot of it because the S1 shed (now Ross 'fluoxetine' Taylor's, also on this list) was rotting in someone's back yard and needed rescuing.

So many nice cars to buy, so little garage space ... good luck with the sale!

Thanks to everyone who's been in touch, either wanting to buy the car or just passing on useful tips. I'm astounded at how many replies I've had.
The car has now been sold (to the 1st person that saw it).
I hope the new owner is as happy with it as I've been.
I'm now eagerly awaiting delivery of the new S.
6 weeks and counting.....!
Thanks again.

Hopefully, I'll still see it about occasionally. :D
