Pistonheads

Post by Gareth » Wed Jan 31, 2007 2:30 pm

Now, I'm not saying the guy (Geoff) has sold out or anything, in fact, he's done something I wish I thought of. Started up a car website then sold it to a bigger fish.

How things have changed over the past few weeks since it happened.
Main thing I notice is, if you go to Pistonheads, you get a sort of time delay. The big Red 'H' from the Honda badge pops up first before the rest of the text shows. This is being discussed within a pistonheads topic where a member got it spot on by posting this:

Geoff? I thought it was Ted...

Either way, if it gets worse folk will just leave. And in reality the only thing the "undisclosed sum" bought was a forum. You can't sell people's loyalty :?

I think it's Dave actually

Good on him, Pistonheads is a great site and the buyers would be crazy to try and change it.
