talking about mouse traps, i reckon that the plastic ones are best as you can set with one hand, and once caught, drop mouse in bin without using a spatula. trusty wooden 'little nipper' has a habit of exploding little mouse's head etc everywhere :shock: :shock:

Yeah there is that risk, however he may well have been born at or near our solem so in fact he might find it harder to navigate the field than we think!

We used to release them about a mile away while walking the dogs (Before we started mouse coursing) but my bro reckoned they'd be back in the house before we were. Hence the sporting chance gauntlet run....

I also now think Mickey was "unaccompanied" as no trap action last night. Will give it tonight too to be sure, then the hole is being closed for good :-)
