I agree with the people above; if you want one go for it. I got a tradein against a yellow one that was for sale down south at 21995 (figures were OK) for my exige against it, but when it came down to it I couldnt be sure I would enjoy the noble as much as I do the exige. I have had the exige a year this week, and not once has it broken, or cost any money.
Even in comparison to the exige the interior is pish.
I think the nobles look awesome and all, but it really depends how much you are willing to give up when changing from a lotus. I have done 5 trackdays in mine now and doubt I would have been able to just pitch up, thrash it, drive home no worries if I had done that in a noble.
Other "worrying" issue is the fact they are not being made any more, so I wonder what will happen to the residuals now.

It was also up at the main John Clark forecourt for a good while before moving down to the South Road site. I saw it up there in September(ish). Not sure what the price was tho.

I saw it advertised this time last year before I got the exige, but the price was over £30k. It was at a garage called motorzone or motorworld or something in Dundee

Exactly; 3k miles in 5 years wont have done it any good - main areas are ECU upgrade, diff upgrade, fans and sump. The pistonheads noble forum is full of info.

If I were spending my bucks again, I would be down at dream machines looking at the £27k Exige S they have for sale.

Looking at this car more closely, I think I drove it as a courtesy car when mine was off the road. It certainly at least needed attention to the clutch and/or gearshift then..........

Why would an S1 test hack have a 51 plate? Any test car would have to have been registered for driving on the road so that doesn't make sense as I doubt they needed any 51 plate S1s to test since the S2 had been out for a year by then

Erm, nobody is talking about the S1? It was the Exige S.
