Car for wife

Test drove the above volvo in black.
Emily was right against it until she saw inside and drove it.
Quite nice. Not got huge power but it's quite torquey and surprisingly quiet so I'll probably put down a deposit on it tomorrow.

Off to read the Horse and Hound and perhaps go ball room dancing later...

V50 2.0 D Sport
Black metallic
18" wheels
3K miles
Winter Pack (heated seats)
Cruise Control

Tried for Volvo Parking assist but he was having none of it. £420
Had to trade the Peugeot 307 (£6K) which seems to match Parkers valuations. They originally offered £5750

I believe there's better deals out there but this is the local volvo dealer, can punt the Pug and saves me having to travel.

I asked if we could get a discount for cash. He said it doesn't work like that anymore as we live in a world where everyone can get finance easy.

If it's an estate your after have you considered a Honda Accord?

Deisel one would be great.

Plus... if you got it in black you could also get a 2nd job as an undertaker at the weekends for a bit of extra cash....

V50 was the only one she liked....she ruled out the CR-V

For the real undertaker look I don't think you can beat an MGZT-T in black. How to make a nice saloon mingin'. Nice choice with the volvo... I've been considering a V50... bit more room for the boxer in the back compared to my hatchback.
