Nice job by Cameron I think.
Perhaps he should diversify away from his Team Scottish Elises webmaster / sponsor role, and take up a regular spot as TSE photographer (joining the elite group of other SE paparazzi who do such a cracking job of capturing our antics).
Bang goes my chance of a pic in the calendar next year. AGAIN.

Just a quick note to say thanks to everyone for pax laps;
I was out with George, Big D, GregR, Neil P and Si.
Many thanks
Love the Atom (delighted with my choice) and Big D's Evo is tremendous, although its ability to drink makes Oliver Reed look like a tee-totaler!

Thanks again for your helpful advice Andy G. And talking of thirsty cars my 220 was doing 11mpg round Knockhill as opposed to 24 on the road. That'll be nice and cheap to run then......

Bodged repair with Irn bru cans got me home. Factory are sending me a new system today so I can have it sorted for Bedford Autodrome next Saturday hopefully. Old system is off, new stailess steel bolts etc ordered so just waiting for the various bits to turn up. Good of the factory to exchange old for new at no charge on a 3 year old car.
I was wondering why some of the Evo and Imprezas were so fast on Saturday, and looking at their web site shows why - some of them are over 400 bhp. Not knowing anything about them (and probably not being able to tell an Evo from a Scooby if the truth be known) I didn't understand why some appeared to be significantly faster than others.
Makes be feel better knowing that, having had to pull over and let some past....
How were your new tyres?
Have you got another KH date in June ? If so can I come and play too (assuming car survives the Nurburgring in May)?

Glad to hear it!
I think the conditions helped the Scoobs/Evos alot. Just wait until its dry!
The SIDC dates are listed here:

There was only really 2 Evo's over 400bhp, most are around 360 to 380bhp. None of them are standard though.

Power to weight is what's important. My car weighs 1440kgs.

That weight certainly does help in the wet though.
Also most of us used at least 2 tanks of fuel so there's a price to pay.

Can't wait, I'm itching for a dry track day.

I'm sure I passed an Evo descending its way to Powmill around 11am on Sat, and I thought "yup, half time for you then, boy-o!"

How long was the day? I used to use 2 tanks in 4 hours...
(albeit only small Exige 40L tankfulls)

Yeah but he was probably drinking it, literally, to calm the nerves for Eau Rouge
