Help my side windows are busted.

Post by Scottyboy » Wed Apr 04, 2007 8:38 pm

I have recently purchased an S2 elise, however both side windows are broken and won't wind up or down very easily. I have to get some one to pull the window upwards and towards the door handle whilst winding up. Has anyone come across this problem and if so what did you do to rectify it.
Your help would be appreciated.

I've had the same problem - as has Mandy - it's probably a screw loose on the runner at the leadingn edge! Complete pain to get at but a reasonably easy fix!

Where are you based?

Thanks
I have had the door trim off and I couldn't see any screws to adjust the runners. Where are they located?

I live near Aberdeen and recently bought the car from a lad at my work. He bought recovered after it was stolen and it still has a few small bits missing before I can get it on the road. I've never owned an elise before so I can't wait. When I drove his S1 I absolutely loved it. If you know a reliable breaker that could supply me with some interior trim, switches and rear bulb holders it would be good - I've been messed around by a couple and with this fine weather I really want to get the car on the road asap.
