Just ordered my plate as well. David, how did you get the old plate off and the new one back on? Mine seems to be on with double sided tape, don't want to take a chunk of clam/paint off with itDavid Bryce wrote:http://www.pl84u.com/

As per Campbells advice recently I have found B&Q double sided carpet tape works wonders with a couple of plastic bolts for good measure. The Halfords sticky number plate pads would not stay on with any impact on the number plate.David Bryce wrote:my old plate was screwed on and I just used some number-plate-sticky-stuff from Halfords to put the new one on.

well yes and no, I gave the front end a bit of a bash off a speed bump at the weekend and it was fine.ExigeKen wrote:As per Campbells advice recently I have found B&Q double sided carpet tape works wonders with a couple of plastic bolts for good measure. on the other hand, with a bigger impact I would want the plate to come of easily as to not damage the front end.
