Insurance compensation----->Comments please!!

I think thick and insurance company employee are linked. Legal Assist people have faxed my claim documents to third parties insurace (Bell Direct) 12 times so far !!! It would appear that every phone call gets the response - I don't have the paperwork to hand can you fax it to me !!

Apologies if anyone here works for an insurance company but my feelings are running high just now !!

I had almost exactly the same experience last year so know the stress involved. Took 3 months

Nada compensation after mucho complaining.

(Unless you include this on hire for that time @ £185 a DAY!!

- bit better than the old Focus they offered originally

Well.....

Just off the phone to elephant, they have decided to offer me £200 compensation for the hastle that I have recieved. Thought this was a bit low and pushed for more but thats the maximum that they were willing to offer.

Not quite the £500 excess back but better than a kick up the &rse!

Quite surprised how quickly they got back to me, thought they would try and drag it out too.

Good to see its possible to get something back from the robbing barstewards.

Just need to see if they will do the same for me !! ??
