What are the regs around passenger seats?
I know you have to have a seat in Class A but does it need to be an OEM seat? The std seat and frame is chuffing heavy. Happy to donate my raceseat which is as light as the Mog carbon type seats. If you can get a basic aly frame made up to bolt it to the car then there's a few kg's to be saved but even simply bolting the seat and drivers subframe straight into the car will still save some weight.
BTW Adherence to the regs seems to be slightly fluid so far.

Compared to some other cars it didn't look like Neil was spinning up the inside rear quite as readily. Many of the more powerful cars were spinning up the inside rear coming out of Russell.
I have stiffer springs than Neil and happy to donate them off the car for OP (although springs are pretty cheap just to buy a few sets at different rates to try out) I've not fitted my replacement rear springs yet which I got from Nitron. Same spring rate (500lbs/inch) but shorter with additional 150lbs/inch tender springs)
Having driven Neil's car, it is very loose and very pointy although he said the geo had changed since I last drove it.

You can remove the pax seat in class B & C. In class A, you just need to keep the car nearest to road spec, so as long as there is a seat - jobs a carrot.

Sorry, I was thinking more about the the other SE Class A car that's being entered rather than Neil's. Should have made that clear really

Sadly I am genuinely working and will be until the wee small hours. That said, I had a spin in the Elise yesterday with Rachel who had to be collected from school at lunch time after being sick (you have all this to look forward to of course) As soon as I picked her up she was fine so we used Bedfordshire's and Cambridgeshire's public transport (a train, two buses - I got on the wrong one - and finally a shared taxi with a Norwegian who was over looking at boats) to go and pick up the Elise after getting the floor sorted. Best it's ever looked to be honest.

yep got mine booked into MMC next week IIRC, like yours, its 8th birthday is rapidly approaching and I don't want it ending up like something out of the Flintstones the month after
