Hi All
It seems I might be venturing north of the border to look over a possible purchase near Dundee, but being a southern jessie I dont know any reputable specialists up in your fine country that could do a mechanical inspection on it for me.

Any recommendations from the wise?
My fallback will be Murrays in Edinburgh, I guess they're the nearest dealer?
Any advice and guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Ta,
Paul

Oooo, closer than Edinburgh too, nowhere near Argentina, ta!

Keep 'em coming if there are other good places. Local knowledge is a wonderful thing
The car and owner dont have much history up there, he's new to the marque and got the car from down here (about 30 miles from me!).

3 years ago I'd have agreed with that, but look at what you've done/changed/improved on your car.
I'd say that your time as an apprentice has well and truly been served by now.

s'ok guys, ta for all the offers

I dont mind coughing up for a specialist to check it over, saves you feeling bad (or pissing yourself laughing

) if I break down half way home
