Better  ...

Cheers dave but think I am sorted...

Have been using it today, and its running very sweet indeed, although the passenger rear damper is definately gubbed and on uneven roads it keeps trying to throw the car left a bit. So going to get on to some breakers as there are a couple of bits of trim / rear dampers I would like to change.

Just going to wait and see what bits come up for sale cheap and used - worked well when I had the S1 so will be keeping an eye on the various classifieds.

Looks nice JJ! I thought the bog standard ones had black mirror caps? Rarely see any like that though!

It is not even listed as a racetech or sports tourer on V5 and having looked at elises.co.uk I cant see it having any options atall.

Only thing I have not worked out yet is the headlight situation as it has no driving lights so want to use the HID kit I have.

JJ
Standard ones don't have driving lights - but apparently the wiring is there - you'll just need the brackets and lights - can add them for about £45.

or just fit the HIDs

I wasnt sure if the headlight bulbs were H4s (hi-low) or H1s and seperate full beam like on exige (in which case I can use HIDs) . Will take a look at weekend....
