NLC - anyone recommend any shower experts- Edinburgh

Post by Andy G » Tue May 15, 2007 8:25 am

Finally run out of F***ing patience with my shower this morning!

The taps below it are both fine, but the shower seems to have massive issues with producing any hot water now! FFS

Anyway, while I am off to the gym to use their showering facilities (at least i'm now forced to attend :)) I wondered if anyone had any recommendations.

I can't work out how thew taps are fine and the shower isn't though, unless there's a blockage somewhere?

Any plumbing geniuses out there that might care to give me a few pointers?

a few possibilities

how's your head!!!!!!! pressure that is

what kind of shower, handspray off the taps, mains electric, tank fed hot and cold supplies?

check the spray head is clean along with the hose, maybe replace

other than that it is likely to need a plumber to check valves or a shower repairer to repair replace pump or unit all that kind of stuff
if evolution don't take care of it, redesign it

For reasons ai can totally understand Lawrence prefers not to mix business with social contacts.

Any other suggestions?

Pressure is really good but lately the hot water has been struggling to come through the shower head. Its been getting gradually worse until this morning when no water would come through. Its a tank fed system.

Will check and replace the head and hose as they definately need it and see how that goes.

Why this week!
