Cheers Rob. Wasn't exactly sure who to contact from all the different numbers and departments on the GCC website. I'll give them a call tomorrow if I get the chance and will have the letter ready as a backup.

Thanks!

Called them up last week as instructed by Rob. Claim form sent off on Monday, along with photos, after getting a rough estimate on the phone from the bodyshop in Bonnyrigg.

MMC recommended calling Wallyford and Bonnyrigg. Wallyford refused to give an estimate on the phone. The guy was all worried about the fact that a formal quote may differ, but I tried to explain to him that there's no way I can legally hold him to the figure he quotes on the phone. Explained that I was just after a rough figure to tell the council. He refused, so I took my business elsewhere and Bonnyrigg were very helpful indeed. :thumbsup They'll be getting my business if the council pay up. Anyone got any experience of them? Should I go straight to them or via MMC for them to take the clam off?

Cheers,
