No longer a secret...

Post by Digital » Sat May 19, 2007 8:04 pm

As some of you may have known, I sold my VXT recently and was in the hunt for an Exige, well, today I've just bought Gareth's (and formerly Robin's) amazing chrome orange S2 (with performance pack). Took the train up this morning to view the car, but in all honesty Gareth didn't have to do much in the way of selling the car to me! Big :thumbsup to Gareth for being so helpful when I was first interested in the car, hope you get that Cateringvan soon :beer

First impressions are very good, handling is so much crisper than the VX and the revvy nature of the car is much more to my taste (always missed that aspect of my Integra). The 2Bular exhaust sounds fantastic too, lots of burbling, pops and bangs.

It'll take some getting used to though, mostly the attention it attracts - I thought my VX caught peoples eye. No sooner had I got the car home than a couple of the kids in my street came running over to tell me "that's a seriously cool car"

Jamie

P.S. No pics yet, but then you all know what it looks like anyway

Seems to be the season for changing cars. :D

You've certainly got a cracker there - congrats.

Congrats on the Exige - good colour choice 8)

As someone who's thought about the same move (VXT -> Exige), I'll be interested to know how you find it once you've got used to the car.

No Sir. Not jumping into anything. Tied up the next few weeks with a trip to glasgow next weekend then Isle of Man. Will sort out a runaround this week.

Jamie got a great day for driving home. I didn't look back when you drove off...honest

Good going! Think this is Gareth's old Exige too:

Nice one :thumbsup 8) I had a wee thought about that car when Gareth put it up for sale, but my sensible, flat-hunting head took over!

Enjoy! :drive
