I always use Falkland. Its not the drive down to Newcastle that puts me off its just the thought of putting a whole day aside for a service and then getting organised enough to do it.

At Falkland, last years C-service inc belt change and other bits n bobs for the exige when I bought it was cica 300. This years A-service was 140ish. Curtesy car always freely available and lots of info about whats been done/needing done/etc always available.

The 111R now needs its 2nd service and I would imagine it will head to Falkland too.

I just had my Elise 111R serviced at MMC - total cost was just under £99, this was it's first 1,000 mile service.

Did you buy the car from them new?

Gary,

1st Service is paid for by Lotus - you just paid for the lubes etc. £99 is about right. Did you get the caopy of the ECU engine/revs printout that goes to Lotus for Warranty - Its good record should you come to sell.
