the majority of the S1's have taped mirrors , so i dont think having orange mirrors makes any difference.

Possible

To be fair the decals Krishnan designed should mean its hard to miss but some day-glow yellow mirrors might help.

Cant wait new keys-in-hand date is Monday - REALLY hoping everything is ok for then as am running out of opportunities for basic shake down/setup time

RLC is sitting lonely and lost in the garage - god even this thread had fallen to page 2! WTF

More work to be done to her, possibly this weekend, as time has been the big issue currently - but with time at the DTM weekend, we may yet decide to have a tinker!

Sounds as if once we're in the paddock for this weekend, we ain't escaping - till 6pm on Sunday - should make for a nice 1-2am return to Edinburgh!

Simply wasn't a good option having been asked to do the DTM Support as opposed to TT. Not sure I've made the right call TBH, but if Mika H asks I'll tell him i'd rather being hanging out with the SE crew at TT07!

Reminds me, I'd better start the RLC and check all the gadget haven't drained her!

Looks like I'll be heading south after work on Thursday, missing the Glenrothes KH night, as i have to be at BH for 6-9am Friday morning....lovely!

If he asks who S_E are, I'll give you a few spare stickers and you can slap one on his back as he walks away... ;)

Where in London are you heading? TBH, by the time you get there, it'll be pub time anyway ...

I could easily run you to Swanley or Gravesend railway stations and collect you there again on Saturday morning, assuming timetables work for you.

Cheers,
Robin

Andy/Jamie/Neil, if you want to leave your car at mine (Borehamwood M25 J23) between Brands and Silverstone and fly home and back etc, I could drop you off at the airport etc. Just a random thought to throw into the mix.

Will post my race report later - playing catch up and trying to do some work to keep paying those racing bills today :)

Awesome weekend, and after the slight anti-climax of Saturday, sunday was to bring better things.

RLC finished 3rd in Class A, which given my starting point on the grid (21st overall and in amongst the mayhem) I was exstatic with. On the podium on a track i hadn't driven before qualifying on Friday! Delighted!

Better news video wise, is that I have the in car footage to bore you all with, so will try to edit it later in the day.

Hats off to Neil who finished 6th, 1st in Class B.

A TSE trophy frenzy! Here's hoping its not the last :)

Race report to follow - and a BIG thanks to Robin. There for advice, strategy, fixing things and having a laugh. We are VERY lucky to have him as our chief engineer/technical director/team boss. Car went better as the weekend went on and might have made second had we one or two more laps, and had a group C car not held me up for 5 laps or so (seriously!).
