Maybe I picked him up wrong but I think Woody said we could have had the timing kit if we paid a bit more for the day.
He did.
We could also use Ingliston.

Y'all should do the Lossie Sprint . . . 2 day double header, come up for an overnighter, BBQ, bit of craick, camp/B&/Hotel locally, sprint both days . . .
You can get your MSA licence and a monkey suit for about 100 quid, the most important thing is your lid . . . and probably the most expensive bit . . . depending on how much you value your heid . . .
Anybody really interested in progressing their driving (as Martin seems to have sussed) should try to do a few sprints/hillclimbs this season . . .
we're hoping to do both Lossie weekends this year . . . brilliant fun . . .

I am still pumped from the after beers, so will type a fuller reply tomorrow.
Anyway, thanks for all the thanks, it's certainaly appreciated. I really enjoyed the day, was SE at it's best, which was what really made it. EACC of course put in a lot of work as well, and I will pass your thanks on at the committee meeting tomorow night - i'm going to hand over the money, memberships... and sort some date(s) out with them. They will also be fixing the days of this summers club trackdays at the meeting
Ian has has sent me a link with his pics ogf the day:

Woody,
Fantastic day, good to meet some SE'rs and be able to put faces to names. I to learned more about my car on the tight track than I did at KH.
On the subject of other tracks for an SE sprint event Boyndie Kart track is used by ADMC as well as Alford. Looking at the vid on their web site shows decent run offs and is, as you would expect of Kart track, quite twisty and tight

.
loads of camp sites ad B&B's in the area (Banfshire) for overnighters.
Just a thought
5 rounds anybody

Ingilston
Alford

Great day, fantastic work Woody and all the EACC guys.
Echos what's been said about it improving your driving - the three lap format meant you had to focus and really think about your lines and braking points to get the most out of it. Great wee track as well - takes 2 minutes to learn what way it goes, but will take dozens of laps to get it nailed. It's really 3D - elevation and camber change makes it a real challenge, as you can go harder into most corners that you'd initially think.
As for Killiebeers... We'll just call it an 'emotional' experience. I'm still seeing Nizzy in that f**kin cardigan...
Hungover like a dog yesterday, but still went out to Loch Doon with Elaine for a walk - what a glorious day!

Would not mind doing just a couple of local Sprint events, ie Lossie and Boyndie, but would need to renew my MSA licence, join the Club again, and pay entrants fees, which adds up.
However I still have my aproved race suit and Helmet, but would not be eligible for Class A8.

Fergus
I presumed that Lossie was part of the Guyson Sprint Championships, but it is not in their events table.
Who is running it and what is the entry procedure?
