I used to (15 years ago) cycle to work on a tandem MTB with my girlfriend at the time. I used to drop her off at work then cycle the additional 2 miles to my work on my own. Funny it would have been past your new office.alicrozier wrote:Is he on the front or the back...Corranga wrote:A guy on a tandem passes my office some days. Strangely that never crossed my mind until you said it...andyc wrote:How the heck do you ride a bike with one leg.....
I can only assume that the monoped rider works on the principle that if he goes quick enough he will never need to stop until he arrives at his destination ( or gets knocked off en route ). He crossed in front of me and 2 other cars setting off from lights - despite the lights being against him, causing us all to brake - he then rode the centre line in between traffic heading with a missile like velocity towards a bus, a quick diagonal cut in between two moving cars to avoid the bus , up onto the pavement and vanished around the corner with the free spinning right hand side pedal turning faster than a washing machine drum on a fast cycle (pardon the pun) .Corranga wrote:Strangely that never crossed my mind until you said it...andyc wrote:How the heck do you ride a bike with one leg.....
Think how fast he was when he had two legs (before he hit and got runover by that bus)...j2 lot wrote:
