They have not even put a snowplough out on the dual carriageway from Ellon, everybody is crawling along the inside lane, outside lane is virgin snow with no cars on it. I am sure it is drivable at a steady speed but nobody is chancing it.

Have done a lot of long distance driving on Christmas Day in the past...dreamland, roads are literally almost deserted. Good call! At least you are not trying to fly anywhere. Or take Eurostar.
