some ideas we had ourselves :
make your own subframe and make it strong enough to cope with "big" torque and power
we are doing a 400/450 Bhp AUDI 2.0 with "some" tricks in an s1 Motorsport body
about the tight fit : make sure the engine mounts are stiff enough but also soft enough to stop the chassis multiplying the engine vibration noises

There are many good guys on there, our own Bob van M is one of them, but at times they are like vultures around a carcass, just want to put forward their own uninformed opinions or slate anything that does not agree with their tunnel vision. Engine conversions are one of their bêtes noires, so if you are outside of the Round Table you will have no chance.
