Thought I'd add my 2p worth in here :)

I previously owned an Exige, which after quite a few niggling problems and complete lack of support from Craig's predecessor, I decided I wouldn't own another Lotus. Disgraceful was probably the best way to describe how I was treated. Anyways, I ended up in an Evora after trying out almost every other market alternative first.

Unbelievable difference since Craig has taken over. I've had a few small warranty issues with the Evora and Craig has done everything and above to help me out and fit me in when I've needed. Not only that he's went above and beyond his call of duty quite a few times to help me out, with totally non car related stuff.. Fantastic team to deal with. My girlfriend has even said she was impressed with how happy to help Craig is!

MMC now, is easily the best servicing department I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. If MMC do end up leaving Lotus (or vice versa) it'll be a massive loss.

Thanks again for all your help Craig (and his team!)

Another thank you to Craig and the guys.
After the windscreen wiper motor packed in, they got a new motor sent up by courier and sorted it at very short notice :thumbsup
Cheers guys.

Ah just joshing, Justin...I'm on this thread because it's my turn to big up MMC :-)

Rather than make a drama out of a crisis (the N1 saga...), Craig helped me engineer a deal on a major part of my own S1's forthcoming Winter Maintenance Programme, namely a set of front wishbones which proved surplus for The N1 Project.

Appreciated, Craig.

We may not realise it, but we have a hardwired route back through to the Lotus factory, with his and his team's efforts. Valuable for sure. Even if the S1 is "de-supported" now ... ;-)

Oi!! you've got a route back to the factory anyway!

Good to see the big man is still doing us proud - as you all know it made my job much easier....!!

Sorry Graeme, didn't mean to undermine your efforts! I was thinking specifically on the servicing and tech support side, but happy to throw your our most complex conundra as and when ;-)

A quick teaser thanks to Craig at MMC for all his work getting me into a new 2-11. It's been a long journey with a few obstacles along the way but every time Craig kept me informed pulled out all the stops to deliver. Can't ask for better service. :thumbsup

I picked it up on Sunday (yes Sunday Graeme!) and got a few final bits and pieces done on the car.
Absolutely loving it, had a great run back via Glenshee. Full feedback on the car and the service when I have a spare hour to do them justice!

You're fairly making your way through the model range, Ali - full respect.

And another thanks from me - perhaps for the first time ever I have ordered some parts by email, got confirmation, got the parts on the day they were supposed to arrive :-) Then personalised handover, some extra spares thrown in that I forgot and a peek at the relevant service bulletin to get the new tightening torque. Almost makes me want to buy a new car :-)

Cheers,
Robin

When Craig leaves MMC for a big money transfer to the Premiership, I hope he buys all you guys a drink for writing his online CV :damnfunny

Only kidding big fella, keep up the good work.

Only one from me (the 2-11 of course would have been, and more quickly..glad you liked the spec, I knew it would be the last) but that 111s was a job in itself

I'd remembered them all bar the S1 shed when I posted :thumbsup

A 340R and an S1 Exige and the pattern is mostly complete, wrt Lotus post-1995 vintage? And there's one of each on Classifieds here I think ;-)

Timing was perfect for me on the 2-11. :thumbsup
Spec is ideal but you'll appreciate the new seats (Carbon GT2's).

Yeah, original 111S was new from the long defunct Village Garage on Gray Street in Aberdeen.
Probably fair to say it's tongue was hanging out...

And the GT Edition from down south...shame but time was of the essence and not really a suitable 'only one that colour in Scotland'.

Almost in Gareth territory.
Counting back, probably driven over 100K miles though...

Yeah, driven various examples of 340R and S1 Exige (and loved them!) but not something I'm hankering after.
2-11 will be the ideal for me (Yang alongside it's daily driver and wet track Yin).
