In my mind anyway... Not one of those montages, just 1979, Rene Arnoux and Gilles Villeneuve. For others of the younger generation that may never have seen it, it's well worth a watch!

That's fantastic!

They can't get anywhere near that close to each other in modern F1. Wish I could have seen stuff like that live, but might have been a bit of a problem as it was the year I was born!

Pure gold that is. Even better in hi res on the telly, I saw it replayed last year some time I think.

Top quality stuff. If you long to see stuff like this, give F1 a miss and try Champcars, IRL or A1GP. Much more passing in these series. Also try watching an oval at least once. They can run lap after lap 3 wide jockeying for position at nearly 200mph
